We are a nonprofit association dedicated to the success of small business in America. Contact us for free and confidential advice about starting your own business or advice [to owners of small businesses] about growing an existing business. All of our 40 counselors are volunteers and receive no compensation. We have 7 counseling sites covering from Mystic to Guilford and north to Norwich. Your Southeastern Connecticut group of SCORE® volunteers are working or retired business owners, executives and managers who can offer a wealth of information and insights on a wide variety of business problems.

SCORE® "Counselors to America's Small Business" is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S Small Business Administration (SBA).

SCORE® has 370 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 11,200 volunteers nationwide. Local chapters provide free counseling and low-cost workshops in their communities. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate their time and expertise as business counselors.
